Here In Ladyworld Zine

Here In Ladyworld Zine is the follow-up to 2017’s Guardians of the Zine. This fan-publication, collectively called TWRPZine, is a collection of art, photography, and writing that celebrates the band TWRP and the one-year anniversary of there EP, Ladyworld.

My role in this project was multifaceted. Not only was I a contributing artist, but I designed the layout and cover of the Zine, communicated with contributing artists, and coordinated production of the zine with local and remote printers.

Sales of Here in Ladyworld Zine were donated to Music Heals, a Canadian charitable foundation that supports music therapy programs throughout Canada. We were able to donate over $1000 USD (over $1300 CAD).

For my submission, I drew the band members as characters from the internet cartoon, Homestar Runner, and recreated some iconic scenes from the series. The images were drawn in Adobe Illustrator.

Ladyworld

I designed this poster as a tribute for the one-year anniversary for Ladyworld, an EP by the Canadian Synth-Rock band, TWRP. The seven waveforms represent the seven tracks from the EP and are overlaid with the distinctive rainbow that was used during the album’s promotional materials. The poster was created in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Books and Breakfast

A teacher at South Middle School in Newburgh, NY asked me to design a tee shirt for their Books and Breakfast event. I created this design after being inspired by the classic “Choose your Own Adventure” books. This design was created in Adobe Illustrator.

Destination Wellness

Destination: Wellness was a campaign about staying safe and healthy over spring break. The campaign focused on four areas: sexual health, skin health, mental health, and drinking safety. These posters and social media graphics were designed to represent a variety of spring break destinations and activities that would appeal to students. The four, larger posters were hung in our facility, while the twelve smaller images were shared on social media. Both were made using stock photos and text in Adobe InDesign

Fishstock 2015

Fishstock was a yearly BBQ and musical jam party held by my family over the summer. The design was influenced by the original 1969 Woodstock posters, as evident by the bird resting on the guitar neck. These bumper stickers were designed in Adobe Illustrator.
