For Dutchess Community College’s 2023 holiday card, I created a snow globe our the school’s administrative building, Bowne Hall. Several hundred aerial photos were captured with a drone and then stitched together in photogrammetry software to create a 3D model. The model was then refined in Blender, printed using PLA, and painted in acrylics. A layer of epoxy resin was applied to waterproof the model. It was glued to a snowy hill of clay, affixed to the base, and then submerged in a water, glycerin, and glitter mixture and sealed up using marine sealant.

This video was included in the digital version of the holiday card.
